Amanda Brand
Director of the Polaris Center
Amanda Brand is Dean of the Polaris Center for Personal and Professional Flourishing. Prior to joining the University of Austin, she spent 20 years working with students, scholars, and staff in a variety of talent development and leadership roles at the Institute for Humane Studies and the Institute for Educational Advancement. Earlier in her career, Amanda held positions in sales and marketing for multiple Internet start-ups. She is a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Senior Certified Professional, has a B.A. in Government and Philosophy from Georgetown University, and an M.A. in Philosophy from Columbia University.
