Victor Hespanha

Victor Hespanha, a civil production engineer from Belo Horizonte, made history as the first Brazilian and South American civilian to travel to space, participating in Blue Origin's NS-21 mission. His journey highlights the growing role of the private sector in space exploration and technological advancements beyond Earth.

As a member of the Space Exploration and Research Agency (SERA), Hespanha represents the organization as an ambassador and LATAM business lead. He works to promote space exploration and expand opportunities for nations without a history in this field. One of SERA's upcoming initiatives is to send six dedicated seats on Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket, furthering access to space.

Hespanha also serves as an advisor at Psyche Aerospace, a startup developing the world’s largest agricultural drone for pesticide application, which is considered one of Brazil's most promising startups. Committed to pushing innovation and global collaboration, Hespanha aims to inspire others to explore new frontiers in space and technology.
